Nik Stauskas

One player that’s yet to find an NBA home is Nik Stauskas. Traded multiple times this trade deadline, Stauskas has been undervalued all throughout his NBA career. In Golden State, he could find more than just success; he could find a home.

While not a main playmaker, Stauskas has carried his weight this season in Portland. He’s averaged 6.1 points per game. Including a three per game and 42% shooting, the former Michigan Wolverine doesn’t do much besides score.

Stauskas is now on the Pacers. Indiana is also expected to add Wesley Matthews, so the services of Stauskas might not be needed. However, he is more of a playmaker than Matthews and with Oladipo’s injury, he may be given a chance to shine.

If bought out, expect Golden State to entertain the guard. He’s the ideal addition. The shooting, playmaking, defending two guard is exactly what Golden State wants. It’s unclear if he’ll be bought out though.
