19. Dallas Mavericks

The front office of the Dallas Mavericks have been steadily creating a very interesting team. Luka Doncic has been one of the most talked about rookies in recent memory and the addition of Kristaps Porzinigis is enough to intrigue any basketball enthusiast.

Doncic is the clear front runner for the Rookie of the Year Award. Luka is on pace to become only the second rookie in NBA history to average at least 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Oscar Robertson is the only other player to achieve this.

Despite Doncic being an absolute beast, the Mavericks have found themselves on the bottom half of the power ranking. This is because, as a team, Dallas ranks in the bottom 10 for points and assists per game.

Furthermore, with a record of 26-30, they are just on the outside of the playoff picture. Hopefully, the Mavericks will land another talented player in this year’s draft and jump to a new level next season.
