5. Toronto Raptors

There has been a culture change in the city of Toronto. In years past, the Raptors weren’t taken very seriously, regardless of how successful they were in the regular season. However, things are much different this season, as the additions of Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green and Marc Gasol have made the Raptors a legitimate threat.

Leonard is having a great return season as he is averaging 27 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. His superb play on both ends of the floor has elevated the Raptors to a 43-15 record, the second best in the East.

Meanwhile, Toronto has benefited from Pascal Siakam who has bloomed into one of the NBA’s brightest young stars. He has great size and versatility, making him a threat to impact the game in every way.

The Raptors aren’t just one of the best teams in the East, they are one of the best teams in the entire league. With an extremely deep bench and star-studded lineup, the Raptors have a real chance to win a title.
