25. Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are a team who appeared to be reluctantly rebuilding for the last few seasons. I say this because, despite lacking the talent necessary to contend for a deep playoff run, the Grizzlies seemed stubborn to keep their core and try again.

This season, Memphis took the first big step to rebuild when they traded former Defensive Player of the Year, Marc Gasol, to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a few players and a future draft pick. However, they did still choose to keep Mike Conley, who is a player that could be easily flipped for some valuable assets.

The Grizzlies don’t really have much going for them right now, but they do have a promising rookie in Jaren Jackson Jr. Jackson is averaging 13.9 points and 4.7 rebounds a game. As the season continues and the Grizzlies eventually adjust to tanking full time, Jackson will become a key component to their future.
