Event: All-Star Game MVP

Winner: Stephen Curry

Yes, Stephen Curry will go home with multiple awards this year as I am predicting Curry to go bonkers in the 2019 All-Star game. Curry has never won the All-Star Game MVP award and I expect him to make it his mission to win the award this year.

Curry’s career-high for points in an All-Star game came in the 2015-16 season when he scored 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting. This season, I think he will try to top this mark and maybe even go for the All-Star Game record of 52 points which was set by Anthony Davis in the 2016-17 season.

It is no secret that Steph can catch fire in a hurry and if he is feeling himself on Sunday night there is no reason to believe he can’t rack up points in a hurry. If Curry gets himself going early on in the game, be on the lookout for a potentially record-breaking performance.

Obviously, many other players will be trying to have historic nights as well. However, I don’t think any other player in the league is able to match Curry’s ability to put on a show when he is on fire and that is why I have him winning this award.
