Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry and brother Seth Curry will both participate in the 2019 3-point contest, and there may be a lot at stake.

Stephen Curry and Seth Curry almost have a bet. All that needs to happen is Seth needs to accept the challenge. In the sake of brotherly competition, the two will likely make it happen. Pride is on the line.

The ‘high-stakes’ wager is the rest of the family’s tickets for the brother’s matchups for the remainder of their careers. Both in the West, the teams could play up to four times per year, not including playoffs. That could easily be over 20 games!

Here’s the video of Curry’s explaining the proposal.

Curry talked to the media after being at Davidson’s game, showing his support for his former college. For Steph, the owner of a supermax contract and a nice shoe deal with Under Armour, the proposal mean significantly less than for Seth.

Although both are in the NBA, Steph has easily made over $50 million in his career, while Seth’s not even over $10 million yet. However, what’re a few hundred tickets to a player looking at a nice new contract this offseason.

Steph, the older brother, also has a better resume when it comes to shooting threes. He’s a top-three shooter of all-time, and he’ll likely end his career as the best shooter to ever grace the NBA with his abilities.

For Seth, clearly he’s a capable threat from deep or he wouldn’t be in the competition. Averaging 1.3 threes per game, Seth does have Steph on the one category that matters most: three-point field goal percentage.

While it seems minute, the two-percent margin is actually a good sign for Seth. So, heck, why not take the bet? Hopefully, over the next 12 hours, Seth responds to this wager and fans get a bit of brotherly competition out of it.

As for us, we’re never going to be better against Steph when it comes to threes. Oh, and this will be his sixth time in the competition, already capturing one three-point contest title back in 2015. Also, he’s averaging a career-high 5.2 per game.

However, anything can happen throughout the course of the 60 seconds the two brothers will be given.
