Rumors have been swirling about Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant joining the New York Knicks and a recent video might show the two discussing their futures.

The NBA All-Star weekend has come and gone and with it came a flurry of crazy highlights and great quotes. One video has surfaced of Kyrie Irving talking to Kevin Durant and many fans think they were discussing their potential future with the New York Knicks.

The two superstar players have been dealing with rumors all year long. Both are set to become free agents this summer and there is some reason to believe that they could both be leaving to join new teams.

In Irving’s case, he is a very unpredictable player and there is honestly no telling where he could go. While he has a great team set up in Boston, it wouldn’t surprise anybody if he decided to change teams once again.

As for Durant, many have been saying that the only way for him to fix his legacy is to leave the Golden State Warriors. His decision to join the Warriors in the Summer of 2016 turned him into a villain which is something that has clearly bothered him.

Both Irving and Durant have been constantly under fire this season with questions from the media. Everyone wants to know where these stars will be playing next season and it has started to annoy both of them.

As a result, Irving and Durant have both snapped in press conferences at different media members. Kevin Durant recently told a reporter to “grow up”, while Irving has had multiple moments where he displayed frustration with the media.

That’s why when video surfaced of Irving seemingly telling Durant “Two max slots, it’s time”, fans became very confused. Is Irving telling Durant that there are two max slots open in New York and it’s time for them to team up?

It’s possible that this is what he was saying, but it would be very odd for Irving to say this in the middle of a crowded hallway during All-Star weekend. Especially when they have expressed their displeasure with discussing their future with the media.

Because of this, I don’t think they were talking about free agency. It is very out of character for these two players to openly discuss their future in front of media members. If Durant does leave the Warriors, he likely won’t tell anyone about his plans until the Summer.
