It seems like a long shot, but the Golden State Warriors could legitimately win the remainder of their games this season.

While it’s extremely unlikely, the Golden State Warriors will likely be favored in the remainder of their regular season games. Although they probably won’t win them all, winning 25 games in a row wouldn’t be that different for this all-time great roster.

There is only one stretch of games in March that could be difficult for Golden State. That’ll be when the team takes a four-game West road trip, starting in Houston then heading to Oklahoma City. Those two games in four days will be difficult for the Dubs to win.

The Golden State Warriors are a combined 1-3 against the Thunder and Rockets combined. That said, they’ve struggled against tougher competition, typically putting away weaker teams with ease. However, they have. the majority of their without star center DeMarcus Cousins.

Coming off the All-Star break and having played in a few games prior to the break, Cousins’ conditioning and stamina should be able to withstand an intense late-season push. He’ll be a big part of the reason the Dubs excel in the second half of the season.

The Warriors longest win streak this season is eleven games. Although they haven’t quite hit the 20s, the Warriors roster, led by the same elite core, have proven to be capable of winning many more than eleven in a row.

During the 2015-2016 record-breaking season, the Warriors won their first 24 games. Only losing nine that season, the Warriors ended with the best record in league history. This team is arguably better than the one they had in their historic start that season too.

Even if the Dubs had an 80% chance to win every game, the Warriors would still have under a 1% chance to win the remainder of their games, so the odds aren’t in their favor. However, the one thing the Warriors have taught us is to never bet against their potential.
