5 reasons the second half of the season matters for Golden State

While they could put on cruise control, the second half of the season will matter for the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors will quickly enter the ‘second half’ of the season. While they have just 25 of the 82 games remaining, the Warriors must continue to dominate the league and should even try to take their game to the next level.

Many of the team’s stars have admitted to the struggle of the regular season grind coupled with their tiring postseason runs. After four and soon-to-be five Finals runs, the stars of the team get tired the typical regular season game.

Can you blame them though?

That said, it wouldn’t be a shocker to see them slip through the rankings during these last 25 games.

What do the Warriors have to prove?

Teams and analysts clearly still view them as the best team in the NBA even without the league’s best record. There are a handful of reasons why coach Kerr should pull back the minutes of his starters.

But, on the other hand, there are at least five reasons why the Warriors should continue to play every game like it’s their last. That said, let’s dive into those reasons.
