The Golden State Warriors have become notorious for stacking talent and they might even get even better by adding Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2021.

The Golden State Warriors have created one of the deadliest lineups in NBA history. Nobody believed they could ever manage to sign Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins, but they did it somehow. Now, the Warriors have their eyes set on Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Rumors have been swirling that the Warriors might potentially go after Giannis in the Summer of 2021. According to a report, the Dubs have internally played with the idea of adding Giannis to the team.

Imagining Antetokounmpo on this current Warriors roster is a scary thing. While he may not fit in as far as 3-point shooting goes, Giannis would have a field day in the lane as the rest of the team spreads the floor for him.

It would be nearly impossible to stop the Greek Freak from attacking the rim when there are shooters such as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant out on the floor. This dynamic would cause nightmares for the other 29 other teams.

However, it is unlikely that the Warriors could manage to pay all of these superstar players. Either Thompson or Durant would have to take a huge pay cut or leave the team. This would be very unfortunate but I don’t think many Dubs fans would be complaining if it meant that Giannis would be suiting up in a Golden State uniform.

Now the question should be, is Antetokounmpo even interested in joining the Warriors. Well, due to the fact that Golden State is such a sunny and great place to live in, combined with the championship caliber team that they have, it would be hard to imagine that Giannis isn’t considering the Warriors in some way.

Of course, we have two years before we will know the answer to this question. A lot can change in two years, especially in the NBA. Giannis ending up on the Warriors would certainly be wild, but it could really happen.
