Rebounding

In his prime, Bogut was one of the NBA’s best rebounders. He peaked at 11.1 rebounds per game during one of his earlier seasons with Milwaukee. That season he also averaged 12.8 points and a league-high 2.6 blocks that season.

Per 36 minutes, Bogut’s numbers look even more inflated. Almost hitting 14 rebounds per 36 minutes in a season with Golden State, Bogut is one of the more physical and dominant big men within the paint.

While he’s not an elite scoring threat, he does shoot efficiently. A career 53.5% shooter, Bogut’s low-volume shooting may be welcomed on the Warriors that rely heavily on Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.

As for the Warriors, rebounding hasn’t been a huge issue, but they could certainly use additional help. Within the top-ten in rebounds per game, the Warriors are not even a top-20 team in offensive boards per game.

Bogut, who once averaged over three per game, would be able to come in and produce more chances in limited minutes. In under ten minutes per game during his last NBA adventure with the Lakers, Bogut averaged over one offensive board.
