Iman Shumpert

After being involved in two three-team trades within a year, Iman Shumpert has found himself getting limited time on the championship-contending Rockets. He’s on a good team, but he’s currently not a contributor.

Between the two trades, Shumpert revitalized his career in Sacramento. Averaging 1.8 threes per game and nearing a double-figure average, Shumpert had finally returned to the player he was in New York.

However, being traded to Houston wasn’t great for Shumpert. He’s getting just 17.6 minutes per game.

A defensive-minded backup shooting guard, Shumpert could thrive as the second unit’s primary playmaker if added to the Golden State Warriors. He’d certainly get over 17 minutes per game on Golden State’s bench.

For Shumpert, it’d be a chance to return to the top of the league as well. Although the 28-year-old shooting guard may be able to get more money elsewhere, he won’t find a better place for success.

Shumpert found himself in Sacramento, and now he can return to prominence in Golden State. This would be a great move for Iman Shumpert.
