When the postseason begins so will the Golden State Warriors’ season. That said, what could potentially step in the way of their historic three-peat?

The Golden State Warriors have had one of the worst seasons in their dynasty’s history. Fatigue, drama, altercations and injury have all stood in the way of the Dubs having the league’s best record.

However, they are still the top team in the West and will likely be the favorite to take home their third-straight title. The journey to their fifth straight Finals and potentially their third-straight championship will begin on April 13.

They should be at full strength and ready to make this one of the most dominant postseasons runs in the history of the league. With arguably their most talented roster, there isn’t much on paper that should stand in way of them and the Larry O’ Brien trophy.

That’s just not true though. Over the course of the season, we’ve clearly seen numerous ways the Warriors can be weakened and eventually defeated. Early this season, the Dubs lost five of six games and, over the last few months, they dropped home losses to Phoenix and Dallas.

They are no longer the invincible team at the top of the league. That said, let’s dive into a few ways this superstar-filled team may falter this postseason.
