Steph Curry’s ankle

Can Stephen Curry stay healthy?

He’s had issues with his ankle and his groin over the course of the past few years, and his health is the main threat that could potentially stand in the way between the Warriors and their three-peat.

Stephen Curry is the heartbeat of this Warriors’ team. The Warriors, a team that currently sits atop the West, have lost seven of the 12 games in which they’ve been without Curry. Led by Durant, the Dubs don’t quite have the same dynamic with Curry on the sidelines.

After all, it’s not easy for the Dubs when they’re forced to replace Curry’s production. He averaging 28 points per game and over five threes per game. The Dubs are 13.5 points per 100 possessions better with Curry on the court than with him on the bench.

If he goes down, defeating Houston and potentially Milwaukee is still possible, but it’s certainly much more difficult. For now, Curry’s healthy and looks terrific, but his health is definitely the biggest threat to the three-peat.

The Warriors should be the favorite to win the NBA Finals, but it’s certainly not a lock like it’s been in year’s past.
