After being hit with a fine after a loss to Minnesota, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry showed up to Oracle Arena with a rather peculiar look.

Stephen Curry was one of three Warriors’ fined for the atrocious calls made at the end of the Dubs-Wolves game that took place Friday night. Prior to being hit with the fines, he mocked the NBA’s L2M report.

The L2M report said this about the shot where Curry was blatantly hit by Josh Okogie:

"Okogie (MIN) makes marginal “hot-stove” contact with Curry’s (GSW) leg after the release of his jump shot attempt and does not affect his ability to land safely."

It may not affect his ability to land, but it certainly was felt by Curry and should’ve still been deemed a foul. This was one of several calls that didn’t go the Warriors way in the last few minutes of the game.

That said, Curry, in a way in which he wouldn’t be fined (he was also fined $25,000 for his postgame comments on the officiating), trolled that ‘hot-stove’ comment made by the league.

Curry was having a phenomenal game, and while this call didn’t change that, it did impact the outcome of the game. That extra point that would’ve been made by the NBA’s greatest free throw shooter of all time would’ve been crucial during the last few moments of the game.

The Wolves ended up winning 131-130.

This potential point for Curry would’ve also given the last few minutes a much different dynamic. It could’ve taken the game to a second overtime period. However, it didn’t, and the Warriors will just have to live with this loss.

Curry ended the game with 37 points and tied his season-high with 11 threes. This was a dominant performance from the two-time MVP. It’s a pity that he could’ve have gotten the call and taken over the last few moments as well.

The Warriors have since found their groove and will continue as the best team in the West although taking that loss to a Minnesota team that will be at home come May.
