Sadly, the 2018-2019 season is just about over. That said, it’s time to give out a plethora of team awards for the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors have, by the league’s standards, had a successful season. They’re currently at the top of the Western Conference and have a two-game lead on the Denver Nuggets with just three games remaining.

However, if you ask the Warriors, the regular season is not what matters. With five stars gracing their starting lineup, this season is championship or bust. There’s quite a bit riding on their Finals run too.

With three of their starters not under contract following the season, the Warriors need to keep the team happy. How do they do that? Well, in short, they three-peat. They do what they’re expected to do.

If the regular season has done anything for Golden State, it’d brought them together. It’s allowed them to figure out how to use DeMarcus Cousins as effectively as possible. Looking unbeatable with Cousins in the lineup, the Warriors will almost be an impossible out this postseason.

When it’s all said and done, they’ve only gotten to the postseason with home-court advantage through the Western Conference playoffs because of the work they’ve put in during the regular season.

That said, let’s recognize their hard work this season with some year-end awards.
