Golden State Warriors star power will be too much for Clippers

The Golden State Warriors are taking on the Los Angeles Clippers in the First Round of the NBA Playoffs.
It’s finally time for the NBA Playoffs to begin. This year is sure to be filled with exciting matchups. First on the list for the Golden State Warriors are the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers are a team who have defied expectations all season long. Coming in without much talent on the roster, the Clips managed to scrap together a crew of hard-working athletes that have a passion for the game.
Behind this all-around team effort, LA managed to work themselves into the 8-Seed and enter the Playoffs. Now they find themselves faced with the top-seeded Warriors who finished the year with over 55 wins for the fifth season in a row.
Golden State might not have the depth they used to have, but they are more loaded than ever. This top-heavy roster is filled with superstar players. The duo of two-time MVP Stephen Curry and two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant is enough to overpower any team. Throw in Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins and now the league is in trouble.
Despite a few slumps this season, the Dubs finished the year strong. A 6-1 stretch to end the season helped the Warriors secure the 1-Seed. A few players began to hit their stride during this run. In particular, Green averaged 9.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists on 53.3 percent shooting from the field and a 41.2 percent success rate from deep.
If Green is truly out of his shooting slump and is going to have a positive impact on offense, it’s a wrap for the Clippers. In fact, it might be a done deal for the rest of the league. Golden State is ready to dominate the opponent and the Clippers will have no chance against the sheer star power the Warriors roster provides.
