The Golden State Warriors were upset by a determined Los Angeles Clippers team in Game 2, but there are a few adjustments the defending NBA Champions can make for Game 3.

Game 2 started out so well for the Golden State Warriors.

The team raced out to a 31-point lead and it looked like the Clippers were down for the count. The Warriors were ready to head to Los Angeles with a 2-0 series lead, but they forgot to actually close out the Clippers in Game 2.

Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell led the Clippers to a stunning comeback victory and now the series is tied 1-1.

If the loss was not devastating enough, the Warriors will now have to continue on without DeMarcus Cousins. The former All-Star suffered a non-contact injury in the first quarter of Game 2 and the Warriors confirmed that Cousins will miss the rest of postseason as a result of the injury.

The Warriors have no choice but to continue their march to the NBA Finals without Boogie and if Game 2 was any indication, their path forward will not be easy.

While the loss to the Clippers was disappointing, there are some adjustments the Warriors can make to help ensure a bounce-back victory in Game 3.
