Attacking the rim relentlessly

The Warriors have three of the best jump shooters in the NBA, but the team has other ways of scoring points.

In Game 2, the team piled up points from the foul line. The Warriors attempted 45 free throws, compared to 31 for the Clippers and sank 40 of them.

The freebies at the line were a big reason the Warriors were able to build a 31-point lead. Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry were particularly aggressive with 12 and 8 free throw attempts respectively in the game.

A ton of free throws shot by good free throw shooters was a recipe for success in Game 2.

If the Warriors can keep attacking the hoop, the Clippers lack a rim protector that can cause any problems. More free throws combined with better defense should help carry the Warriors to victory in Game 3.
