With Game 3 of the Western Conference First-Round coming up for the Golden State Warriors, the Dubs will be looking to bounce back strong.

The Golden State Warriors are fresh off of blowing the largest lead in NBA Playoff history. After the Los Angeles Clippers mounted a 31-point comeback, the Warriors traveled to Los Angeles frustrated and shocked that the series is tied at 1-1.

However, anyone who has been watching this Clippers team all season long wasn’t too surprised by this outcome. While obviously, it is very surprising to see an 8-seed competing with a powerhouse team such as the Dubs, it’s exactly what we should have expected from the Clippers.

Let’s look at it in simple terms. The Clippers have a rag-tag group of players who feel like they have been outcasted by the NBA. Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Danilo Gallinari and Patrick Beverley are guys who were dismissed by their former teams and deemed unworthy.

Now, playing together, this group has managed to put together one hell of a season and has been shocking teams all year long. The grit and toughness they display on a daily basis continue to catch opponents off guard.

This is exactly what happened to the Warriors. Not a single person on the Dubs roster would have expected a team to go all out and complete a 31-point comeback in the second half of a playoff game in Oracle Arena. It’s just simply something that never happens.

Now that the Warriors have witnessed first hand what this team is capable of, it’s time to strap up and stop playing games. Even with DeMarcus Cousins sidelined due to injury, the Dubs have an immense amount of talent on the team. Far more than the Clippers do.

Game 3 is time for the Warriors to make a statement. A big win here should put the rest of the league on notice that the Dubs are still the team to beat. Expect the Warriors to keep their foot on the gas through all four-quarters in tonight’s game.
