Stephen Curry has been incredible so far in this postseason and he is proving he is the best player on the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors are up 2-1 in their series against the Los Angeles Clippers and Stephen Curry is the main reason why. With Curry playing at a legendary level, the Dubs are looking to compete for a third straight NBA Championship.

This run from Curry has been very impressive. Through the first three games of the series, Curry is averaging 29.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. While the Dubs might have blown a historic 31-point lead in Game 2, but Curry has been lights out all series long.

He began the series with an explosive 38 point and 15 rebound performance. He has shot 17-for-29 from the 3-point line through three games and has surpassed Ray Allen as the number one all-time leading 3-point shooter in the NBA Playoffs.

With Curry on the court, the Dubs have an offensive rating of 125.7. In contrast, the team has a rating of just 110.6 without him. Furthermore, Curry has been a plus 51 through the first three games of the series.

Compare this to Kevin Durant, who also has a similar impact on the team. With Durant, the Dubs have an offensive rating 124.8 and a rating of 110.9 without him. However, Durant’s individual numbers are slightly worse at 27.3 points, 5.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds a game.

To top things off, Durant has found himself having a bit of a struggle against Patrick Beverley. Bev has managed to be a pest and was a key reason to Durant being ejected in Game 1 and fouling out in Game 2.

All of this is steadily proving that Stephen Curry is still the best player on the Warriors roster. He has the heaviest impact on the team and has been the most consistent this postseason. This could potentially be the first year we see Curry walk away with a Finals MVP award.
