3 Warriors that must step up to ensure a Game 6 victory
Andre Iguodala
For the minutes he’s given, Andre Iguodala does not produce enough on the offensive end, and his crucial misses hurt the Warriors in Game 5. Iggy went 1-for-7 and scored just three points in 27 minutes. He’s averaging 9.0 points per game for the series.
While Iguodala did make a timely strip on Lou Williams, his overall performance this entire season has not lived up to expectations. He’s averaged 5.7 points per game this season which is a career-low for the 15-year veteran.
Like Looney, Iggy missed a late-game three that could’ve changed the momentum of the entire game. From three, Iggy was just 1-for-5. The combined play of Iggy and Looney hurt the Warriors and wasn’t enough for even 45 points from Durant to overcome.
Iguodala is a vital part of this part. He’s one of the five that create the feared death lineup. Iguodala and the Golden State Warriors must be better in Game 6 if they wish to close out the series.
The Clippers may somehow trump their Game 2 accomplishment if they were to take down the Warriors in the last two games, completing the most unexpected comeback of all time.
