Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame” has taken over the cinematic world much like the Golden State Warriors have taken over the NBA world.

After the best opening weekend of all-time, Avengers: Endgame is the must see that’s taking over the world. At the same time, for NBA fans, the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs give off a similar must-watch feel.

That said, how do the Warriors compare to the Avengers?

Let’s preface this entire article by saying there are no Endgame spoilers. The viral Twitter hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame says it best.

Fellow FanSided site Space City Scoop gave the idea that a better comparison for Golden State is Thanos. After snapping half of the world out of existence, much like Golden State has made over half the NBA helpless in their quest for dominance, the comparison isn’t too far-fetched.

When you consider that we’ll be depicting the Avengers as the Hamptons 5 (Andre Iguodala, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green) along with Boogie Cousins, you can count six Warriors compared to the Avengers.

Or, should you compare them to the six infinity stones? When you combine them, you create an unstoppable force that not a single superhero in the entire universe can defeat, or in the NBA world, not even the mighty, generational talent of LeBron James.

That’s the reality in the NBA.

So, while the comparisons to the Avengers will be the crux of the article, we’ll also compare each Warrior to an infinity stone.

First up, Kevin Durant.
