Stephen Curry – Iron Man – Yellow Mind Stone

There was a real part of me that wanted to make Stephen Curry Hawkeye given that he never misses an open shot, aside from Game 2.

While Hawkeye may be a fan-favorite of some, he’s not one of the core superheroes that founded the Avengers, and for Curry, Iron Man may be a far better comparison. His leadership and his ability to pick the enemy apart resemble that of Iron man.

Curry was the one that took the Warriors to the next level. He is the leader of the team’s dynasty, like Iron Man, also known as Tony Stark, is the leader of the Avengers.

Also like Iron Man, Curry can play bigger than his 6-foot-3 frame allows many to think. Stark does the same with Veronica, his Hulk-sized addition to his suit. Curry does so with his 5.3 rebounds per game which neared a career-high this season.

Curry blazed his way to the top of the league due to his incredible shooting. Similar to Stark blazed his way to the top with technology, the comparison seems fit, especially given how it seems every Iron Man movie Stark ends pretty banged up, like Curry after every game.

Curry also receives the yellow mind stone comparison. His ability space the floor up to 30-feet from the rim allows him to get in the mind of other players and opposing coaches.
