4. Denver Nuggets

Now it’s time to look at the other potential Western Conference opponent, the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets have been a surprising team all year long. While many haven’t taken them as serious title contenders, the performance of Nikola Jokic is beginning to become too much to ignore.

Despite being rather unathletic and seemingly clumsy on the court, Jokic is far in a way the most talented big man on the court. His court vision and playmaking ability are unmatched for his size. Furthermore, he is exceptional at using his body to box out and grab rebounds.

In his series versus Portland, Jokic is averaging a near triple-double with 26.8 points, 14.0 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game. He has seen strong assistance from his point guard, Jamal Murray, who is scoring 24.7 points per game on 43.0 percent shooting.

Jokic is sure to give the Golden State Warriors some problems down low while Murray is a constant threat to score. Still, I like the Dubs chances in this potential series.
