3. Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving is one of the only players in the world that can say he beat the Golden State Warriors in a playoff series this decade. Of these players, Kyrie is the only individual that can claim he hit the dagger shot to steal a championship away from them.

Yes, we all know of the incredibly clutch shot Irving hit over the Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals. But, Irving’s performances go much further than one step back 3-pointer. It could be argued that Irving has had his best playoff games against the Warriors.

In the 2016 Finals, Irving averaged 27.1 points per game on 46.8 percent shooting as he knocked the Dubs out in six games. In the next season, 2017, Irving put up a career-high 29.4 points per game against the Dubs as he finished a countless number of miraculous shots.

We have not seen Irving compete against the Warriors since the 2017 season. However, if the rumors are true that Irving might be joining LeBron James in Los Angeles, then get ready for another legendary showdown.
