The Golden State Warriors dropped Game 1 of the NBA Finals and these three plays can be credited for their loss.

The Toronto Raptors came out and proved that they would be no easy opponent in the 2019 NBA Finals. It’s time for the Golden State Warriors to regroup and figure out how they can adjust their approach in Game 2.

Overall, the Dubs didn’t play a bad game. They shot a little below average from the field, but Stephen Curry had his usual great shooting night, scoring 34 points. Meanwhile, Draymond Green recorded a triple-double, something that usually guarantees a Warriors victory.

Despite all of this, the Dubs found themselves trailing throughout most of the game. The Raptors were clearly prepared to throw curve balls at the Warriors all night and it threw the Dubs off of their game.

Today, we are going to look at three plays that defined Game 1. While we will technically look at six individual clips, we will be focusing on three specific trends that occurred throughout the game.
