Quinn Cook
Klay Thompson went out in the fourth quarter. It was a difference maker. A revolving door of injuries allowed Quinn Cook a role in Game 2. He did not disappoint, ending the game with nine points on 3-for-6 from the field and 3-for-5 from deep.
Cook made arguably the biggest shot of the game just minutes prior to Golden State’s near five-minute scoring drought. Off balance, Cook caught the ball early in the shot clock and without hesitation pulled up and drained a huge shot.

The Warriors scored just 11 points following that shot. That and one of Cook’s other threes left an impact on this game that will never be forgotten. And, for Cook, it’ll also likely earn him a larger role moving forward.
Cook actually played well in Game 1, scoring six points in just nine minutes. That said, it wasn’t shocking to see him already have some built up trust with Kerr, but without Thompson as an option, there weren’t many clear-cut options to take the pressure of Curry.
Cook did that.
Cook and Cousins put in the work and deserved this win.
