Game 4 of the 2019 NBA Finals was not a good one for the Golden State Warriors. Let’s figure out what went wrong.

In what could have been the final NBA game to ever be played in Oracle Arena, the Golden State Warriors squandered a perfect chance to tie up the series 2-2. Instead, a number of factors combined to put the Dubs in a tough position.

Behind an all-around dominant performance from the Toronto Raptors, the Dubs have fallen to a 3-1 deficit for the first time since the 2016 Western Conference Finals. As we all know, the Dubs emerged victorious from that series, but this is a much different scenario.

The Warriors have been ravaged by injury throughout this postseason. Crucial blows to DeMarcus Cousins, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney have contributed to the deficit they now face.

Above all else, their performance on the court has been the reason they have their backs against the wall. It’s time to go over some film and look at three reasons the Dubs blew it in Game 4.
