2. Frontcourt shooting

DeMarcus Cousins wasn’t the only frontcourt player being detrimental in this game. In fact, the entire Warriors frontcourt combined for just 29 points. This is a far cry from the nearly 35 points Kevin Durant was giving the Dubs himself per game in the playoffs.

Of course, there is no Durant to save the day for the Warriors. They are now relying on the likes of Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, DeMarcus Cousins and Kevon Looney to pick up the extra weight. As you can see, this isn’t working very well for the Dubs.

This shot by Iggy is one that the Raptors will give him every second of the game. There is no threat in an off-balance 3-pointer by Iggy and almost no reason for him to attempt this look.

Here we have a great pass thrown by Iggy. The only problem is that Green is the one who catches the ball. Green is shooting just 32.3 percent from the 3-point line this postseason and is not the guy the Warriors want to be shooting deep shots. He could have swung the ball over to Cousins, but he is shooting just 33.2 percent himself.

It sucks that there is no real solution to this issue for the Warriors. Without Durant, they can’t patch up this hole in their offense. They just have to hope someone can step up and knock down these shots.
