The Los Angeles Lakers finally managed to pull off a trade for superstar Anthony Davis. Does this exchange put the Golden State Warriors dynasty in danger?

The Golden State Warriors have enjoyed five consecutive trips to the NBA Finals. Along the way, they have defeated a number of worthy opponents. However, their streak could now be in jeopardy due to the relocation of Anthony Davis.

Davis has been one of the league’s best players since his rookie season. With a gigantic frame and an insanely versatile skill set, Davis is unlike anything we have ever seen before. In his seven-year career, Davis has already been selected to six All-Star teams, three All-NBA teams and three All-Defensive teams.

After a long and grueling stretch of trade rumors, the Los Angeles Lakers have finally won the AD sweepstakes. A package of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first-round NBA Draft Picks was enough to get the deal done.

Now, with LeBron James tooling up for a redemption season, all eyes are on the Lakers. On paper, Davis is the most talented player LBJ has ever had the honor of playing next to. This duo has the potential to cause major problems, but will the gutting of the Lakers roster be too much for them to overcome?

Well, it’s important to note that the Lakers are only beginning their offseason moves. With plenty of cap space and more potential trades, LAL is going to do everything in their power to build a championship contending team.

Meanwhile, the Dubs are still working through the aftermath of a devastating NBA Finals loss. Not only did they lose the series, but they lost two key players to serious injury. Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson will both miss large chunks of next season with injuries.

The Warriors have never been more vulnerable than they are now. It’s uncertain how much more powerful the Lakers will get, but this move has set the stage for an epic clash in next year’s playoffs.
