5 Teams: 2% Chance

Slowly moving up the list, these teams have double the chance of landing Kevin Durant. It might only be a two percent chance, but hey it’s something.

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have made some huge moves recently to set themselves up for a future dynasty. Luka Doncic is likely the Rookie of the Year while Kristaps Porzingis is a blooming superstar. Kevin Durant could make this dynamic very interesting, but we haven’t heard any rumors about him considering the Mavs just yet.

Milwaukee Bucks

Imagining Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetekounmpo running together would be a nightmare for 29 NBA teams and a dream for the Milwaukee Bucks. However, it seems like Giannis is doing just fine without Durant. If KD decides to leave the Warriors, I’d assume it would be to repair his image, not hop on another bandwagon.

Brooklyn Nets

New York seems to be one of the prime destinations for Kevin Durant. Nobody said the Brooklyn Nets couldn’t be his preferred team. With De’Angelo Russell and Jarret Allen running the show, this Nets team is a fun one for the future. Sadly, I don’t think they have enough talent to really persuade Durant.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are desperate to find a go-to scorer. Joel Embiid is too injury prone and Jimmy Butler isn’t skilled enough to carry them too far. Kevin Durant would be their saving grace, but cap space is going to be an issue for a team with multiple budding stars.

Toronto Raptors

As far as I can remember, the Toronto Raptors have never pulled off a big free agency signing. Perhaps the presence of Kawhi Leonard could sway Kevin Durant into joining the squad, but there is an equally likely chance that Leonard leaves Toronto himself. Because of this, Durant will probably stay clear of Toronto.
