Los Angeles Clippers: 15% Chance

Los Angeles has always been a great destination for star free agents. However, in recent years, the culture has slowly been shifting to favor the Clippers over their bigger brother, the Lakers. This culture change continues to occur as reports come out that both Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard are considering joining the Clips.

If the first round of the NBA Playoffs showed us anything, it’s that the Clippers are no joke. Filled with gritty players that are ready to lay it all out on the court, LAC managed to push the Warriors to six hard-fought games. If this was an audition for Durant, the Clippers passed with flying colors.

Adding KD to this group of guys is a fascinating idea. While the Clippers are loaded with defensive talent and heart, they lack the offensive firepower and star status to really compete. Durant would lift them to the next level and perhaps into title contention.

Throw in the fact that Leonard might join him and this is a scary thought. Leonard and Kawhi would be one of the deadliest duos the NBA has ever seen.
