The Golden State Warriors will do all they can to retain Klay Thompson in free agency. Here are the five biggest threats to steal Klay this Summer.

This Summer is a pivotal one for the Golden State Warriors. With star players such as Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant both able to hit the free agency market, every NBA team will make an attempt to swipe someone from the Dubs.

Even with the devastating injuries to both KD and Klay, there is no doubt that other teams have their eyes on these two stars. They have proven to be too talented in previous years to not be worth the risk. Thompson, in particular, is a three-time NBA champion, five-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA member.

Luckily, the Dubs have an advantage. Not only do they have a history with Thompson, but they also have no reason to offer him anything less than the max. This is something that other teams may be wary of doing, meaning Klay should be looking to stay with the Warriors.

Still, there is no telling what a player might do in free agency. Let’s begin the speculation by breaking down five teams with the best chance of stealing Thompson from the Dubs.
