7. Indiana Pacers

If the Golden State Warriors do decide to trade away Kevin Durant, they will likely look to ship him to a team in the Eastern Conference. This would benefit them as it helps open up an easier path to the NBA Finals.

One team that the Warriors should be eyeing as potential trading partners are the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are just a few pieces away from being real contenders in the Eastern Conference. Trading for KD would certainly make them the favorites, but it would come with a high price.

It would be tough to give up Victor Oladipo because he is the man who has carried the Pacers to the level they are at now, but it might need to be done. If shipping Oladipo, Doug McDermott and a future draft pick is enough to bring in a two-time Finals MVP in Durant, then Indiana has to pull the trigger on this deal.

In return, the dubs gain a versatile athlete in Oladipo who has proven he can take over games. Throw in the 3-point shooting of Doug and the 2021 First Round draft pick and the Dubs should walk away from this deal feeling satisfied.
