10. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Sell)

First on our list is the 3-and-D prototype player, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. KCP had high hopes for himself last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, but after a year of dysfunction, his stock is lower than ever.

Pope became a legitimate scoring option early in his career playing for the Detroit Pistons. Averaging 13.7 points per game across three seasons for the Pistons, he was a bright and promising 23-year-old prospect.

When he signed with the Lakers, the goal was for him to blossom into a player that could knock down shots on offense and play solid defense on the other end. Of course, the pressure only increased when LeBron James joined the team in the summer of 2018.

As we now know, Pope isn’t exactly the best player to have on a team looking to compete. His habits on the court aren’t helpful to the team’s goal and he can often disrupt the entire offense with his persistence to shoot. He is similar to J.R. Smith but lacks the charm and heart that made Smith a champion. The Golden State Warriors should steer clear of signing KCP.
