Golden State Warriors: “Buy or Sell” with 10 potential NBA Free Agents
By Tony Pesta
7. Brook Lopez (Buy)
Now it’s time to talk about the other Lopez brother, Brook. Last season, Brook Lopez made every Lakers fan sob as he grew into one of the best stretch-bigs in the entire league after leaving their franchise.
It’s impossible to overstate the impact Lopez had on the Milwaukee Bucks. His ability to stretch the floor and drill the 3-point shot made it possible for Giannis Antetokoumpo to have the amazing season he had. Throw this in with great shot blocking and solid rebounding and Brook was a monster.
On the year, Brook averaged 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game. He connected on an average of 2.3 shots from deep a night and shot an efficient 36.5 percent from beyond the arc.
The Golden State Warriors would absolutely love to have a player like this on their team. He has the ability to open up the floor and play quality minutes in the Playoffs. Brook is a prime candidate for the Dubs and they should be ready to make a real offer for him.
