5. Jose Calderon

Aside from Shaun Livingston, the Golden State Warriors haven’t had a veteran point guard to back up Stephen Curry in a long time. With Livingston considering retirement, Jose Calderon could be a good fill for this position.

Calderon has played 14 seasons in the NBA and will be 38-years-old in September. He has played for a number of different teams and has just about as much basketball knowledge as a player can possibly have.

Despite never receiving any official honors, Calderon has undoubtedly been a key member to his past teams. His timely playmaking and ability to shoot consistently is something that every team values and he is a very smart player when it comes to picking and choosing his shots.

The Warriors would love to have Jose coming off of their bench. His savviness and willingness to pass make him a perfect fit in their current system.
