1. Vince Carter

If there is any player in the NBA that fans are hoping receives a ring before he retires, it would be Vince Carter. The greatest dunker in league history, Carter has captured the hearts of countless fans, but he never captured the championship he always sought.

Carter is without a doubt a Hall-of-Fame player. Being named to eight All-Star games and two All-NBA teams, Carter has played in 20 seasons and been a top tier player in at least half of them. Sadly, the furthest he has ever been in the playoffs is the Eastern Conference Finals, falling one game short of reaching the next stage.

Joining the Golden State Warriors would give him a great chance of breaking past the barrier and reaching the NBA Finals. He can definitely still have a positive impact on the floor, averaging 7.4 points on 41.9 percent shooting from the floor and 38.9 percent shooting from the 3-point line.

As the oldest player in the NBA, it’s clear Carter doesn’t have much time to win a title. In fact, he has even stated that this upcoming season will be his final one. Because of this, Carter should be considering joining the Dubs. Meanwhile, the Dubs should be looking to add a veteran presence such as Carter. This seems like a perfect fit.
