Brook Lopez

One of the league’s best three-point shooting bigs, Brook Lopez, stepped it up on the defensive end as well last year. After making three threes for the first eight years of his career, while with the LA Lakers, Lopez mastered his shot, which took his game to the next level.

Drilling a career-high 187 threes last season, Lopez shot a solid 36.5% from downtown. Overall, his shooting is what could both keep him in the league for at least half a decade longer and earn him a significant contract this offseason.

Never having been a great rebounding big man despite his size, Lopez made up for it with 2.2 blocks per game. And, to make things even better, he was playing for under $4 million after notching over $22 million with the Lakers.

If the Warriors can get Lopez with the MLE, they absolutely have to. He’d be the perfect addition, but after his play in Milwaukee, he may be looking at another large, eight-figure contract. What he’s looking for contract-wise is unknown and will likely dictate where he heads.
