Kent Bazemore

The Warriors need scoring. With Thompson out till at least All-Star weekend and Durant out potentially all season, where is all the scoring going to come from? Draymond Green?

Outside of Stephen Curry, this team may struggle to score. That’s where Bazemore could be a solid option. He averaged 11.6 points per game last season and just under 13 the season before. Per 36 minutes, though, Bazemore notched a career-high 17.1 points.

A left-handed small forward, Bazemore can play the 2-4 which without Thompson would an excellent attribute. However, there’s virtually no way that Bazemore doesn’t take his player option, worth over $19 million.

It’d be a nice addition, but to snag Bazemore for either the veteran’s minimum or the MLE would be a pipe dream for Golden State. Like Dedmon, finances are the reason he’s so low on our FA rankings.
