Durant is “pissed off”

When Kevin Durant first injured his calf against the Houston Rockets, fans immediately believed the injury was more severe than a “calf strain”. Still, there was no reason to question the medical staff of the Golden State Warriors.

However, as time went on and Durant continued to remain on the sidelines, questions began to arrive. Finally, after nearly a full month, KD was cleared to practice. Only a few days later, it was announced that Durant would play in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

To the surprise of many, KD looked spry in the pregame warmup. Jumping and doing his normal routine, it felt like the Toronto Raptors were in for a beating. Sadly, as we all know, it only took 12 minutes for Durant’s Achilles to give out.

Now, the Warriors are dealing with the aftermath of their decision to play Durant. It has been reported that Durant is upset with the medical staff and there is speculation that KD was pressured into playing before he was fully healthy.

We likely won’t know the full details behind this situation for quite some time. Regardless, the Dubs might want to clear this situation up before Durant makes his decision.
