Durant’s options limited to five teams

Every team in the league wants a chance at signing Kevin Durant. But, if we’re being real, only a few teams will actually get this opportunity. According to reports, Durant has already limited his options to four teams. These teams were the Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors.

There is a common theme here. Both Los Angeles and New York teams have made the list, with the Warriors being the last one on the list. It’s obvious that Durant is interested in playing in a big market with ideal living scenarios.

When it comes down to it, the Warriors have the most talented roster by far. The Clippers are close, but nothing compares to the star power on the Dubs. This should place the Warriors at the top of this list if Durant is interested in joining the best team available. Of course, this could change if other teams are able to sign a star such as Kawhi Leonard or Kyrie Irving.

However, the Dubs have one thing no other team does: The supermax. The Warriors can offer Durant a multi-year $220 Million dollar deal, which is by far the most money any team can provide KD. This should place the Warriors as the favorites to sign Durant.
