Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Like Bullock, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is one of the best fits for the Warriors in terms of both financial fit and on-court fit. He plays a similar game to that of injured Warrior Klay Thompson and could be secured for the veteran’s minimum.

Pope was actually Bullock’s teammate last season. Coming off his fifth-straight season of double-figure scoring, Pope has made himself a target by playing tenacious defense while also being able to shoot from deep.

With the Lakers, Pope hit 1.8 threes per game. That’s his strength, and although Klay can typically take defenders off the dribble, Pope is more of a traditional three-and-D player that’d likely feed off the attention given to Steph.

The Warriors are going to have to fill out their roster somehow. Pope is one of the best-value free agents on the market, and Golden State should be highly interested in signing him.
