1. Kawhi Leonard doesn’t go to LAL

Last season, Kawhi Leonard showed the entire world how valuable he really is. His run in the playoffs is one of the best individual postseason runs we have ever seen. If Kawhi decides to take his talents somewhere else, it could be devastating for the rest of the league.

Specifically, the league would be set ablaze if he joined the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite seemingly doing everything wrong, the Lakers have acquired both LeBron James and Anthony Davis. For a franchise that gets a lot of criticism, it’s hard to critique two of the best players in the league.

The duo of James and Davis is already scary enough. In the 2018-19 season, James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists. Meanwhile, Davis put up a prolific 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocks a game.

Throwing Kawhi into this dynamic makes the Lakers a frightening team. This would create a combination of three of the most versatile and dominant players the league had ever seen. It goes without saying that the Warriors would stand no chance of defeating a team this loaded with talent, especially without Durant by their side. If the Dubs want to win next season, they need to hope Kawhi stays away from LA.
