James Ennis III

Potentially the best 3-and-D player still not signed, James Ennis III could be signed for a minimum-value contract. However, we really don’t know what his value is at this point.

Ennis has played just five full seasons in the league yet has been on numerous teams. This past season, he ended the season on the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging just 5.3 points per game in 18 games. The Sixers didn’t utilize Ennis like Golden State could.

A career 36% three-point shooter, Ennis could be a solid option for the Warriors and is currently flying under the radar. At his peak, Ennis averaged almost 16 points per game and neared 3 threes per game in a very brief stint with New Orleans.

The Dubs need shooting. Ennis has that. The Dubs need defense given their acquisition of Russell. Ennis has that. He’s everything they could want in a minimum-value player and should be a target of Golden State’s in the upcoming days.
