5. Darius Miller

Although Darius Miller doesn’t have the same star appeal as Durant, Miller would quietly perform effectively and bolster the Dubs small forward depth that is perilously thin.

The former New Orleans Pelican has proved to be an effective during his stint in the NBA thus far, carving a role as a role player that can move without the basketball and is a very good spot-up shooter.

Miller presents good value as a three-point shooter and would be an immediate boost to an area which the Dubs lacked in 2018/19. While the former Kentucky alum has also proved to be a solid defender and would replace McKinnie in the second unit should the former be temporarily shifted into a starting role.

In 2018/19 Miller was one of Alvin Gentry’s most trusted rotational players and was largely effective featuring in 69 games averaging 8.2 points, 2.1 assists and a 36.5% clip from downtown. If the Warriors could maximize Miller’s effectivity it could perhaps be one of the NBA’s biggest bargains.

Most significantly though is that Miller is believed to be willing to take a minimum contract, if that proves to be the case the Warriors should jump at the chance to add one of the league’s better shooters.
