2. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Comparisons between Hollis-Jefferson and Iguodala have been endless since the days at Arizona state and recently since the former entered the league in 2015.

Hollis-Jefferson recently had been waived by the Brooklyn Nets in an attempt to maximize cap space to acquire Durant and Kyrie Irving and his lack of threat on the offensive end will likely mean teams have second thoughts about him.

However, the former Arizona Wildcat is an elite perimeter defender like Johnson sees his career at a crossroads and will likely be available on a minimum contract.

Like Johnson, Hollis-Jefferson could and will likely be viewed as a poor man’s Iguodala and would immediately add value to the frontcourt as an elite defensive presence and would be a more than adequate replacement for Iguodala.

Unlike Johnson, Hollis-Jefferson hasn’t developed a three-point shot and seemingly regressed in 2018/19 averaging under 20%. But regardless on a minimum contract the Arizona alum adds value defensively and could prove to be a bargain for a team still in pursuit of a championship.
