1. Carmelo Anthony

Although Carmelo Anthony hasn’t played in the NBA for virtually a year, he could prove to be a valuable addition to the Warriors roster.

Anthony is an elite mid-range shooter who can create his own shot and would arguably be able to temporarily fulfill Durant’s role on offense and would be able to ensure the Warriors don’t miss a beat offensively.

While the former New York Knick is aging he still presents decent value as a three-point shooter averaging just over 32% during his brief stint with the Houston Rockets.

If Anthony wishes to continue his career, he must be willing to perform as a role player and with the Warriors it could be the best opportunity to rebuild his value and pursue his first Championship.

Anthony will likely be available for the veteran’s minimum and should that be the case the former Houston Rocket could add a veteran’s presence to a youthful Warriors and could potentially mentor McKinnie and Warriors first-round pick Jordan Poole.

Although Carmelo has defensive limitations, it would likely rule out a possibility of starting. However, in short bursts, Anthony could prove to be a bargain addition to the Dubs roster.
