2. Offensive weapon

Despite not starting any games with the Wizards, Parker showed genuine signs of becoming a consistent threat in the NBA as one of Scott Brooks’ most trusted rotational players.

Although the former Duke star only featured in 25 games following his trade, Parker made a strong impact averaging 15 points per game, just over seven rebounds and nearly three assists on a Wizards team that endured a torrid season finishing with a 32-50 record.

Despite featuring in a different role in comparison to seasons past, Parker flourished, displaying an ability to score in bunches and showed his potential to create his own shot from anywhere on the floor. The former Milwaukee Buck was one of the bright spots in a disappointing year for the Wizards adding several blistering performances to his résumé.

A 28 point, 15 rebound effort against Phoenix, a 28 point, six rebound display against Chicago and a 27 point, seven rebound performance against the Timberwolves showed signs of Parker’s quality.

The former 2nd overall pick has expanded his skill set and should he be available for the right price, the Dubs should willingly take a gamble as the Dubs try to return to the Finals in 2020.
